Have an action plan- If you want to set yourself up for success, be detailed about your goals, and create an action plan with steps on how to make it happen. According to a study by Wake Forest University professors E. J. Masicampo and Roy F. Baumeister, just writing down a plan for getting tasks done can easily free you from experiencing anxiety.

Implement the two-minute rule- If your 2018 goal is to better maximize your time and managing a schedule, then the two-minute rule is a habit you’ll want to adopt. With this rule, any action that can be accomplished in two minutes or less, should be completed right away. This gets things done that can easily be overlooked, makes your to-do list shorter, and allows you to focus on larger tasks.

Develop a morning routine – How you start your morning sets the tone for the rest of the day. That is why successful industry leaders create a strict morning routine that works for them. Starting your day off right mentally and physically will maximize your energy, productivity, and creativity all day long.  The best way to accomplish this is to take a few minutes the night before to think about what you want to accomplish the next day.  You will be more likely to follow through with your morning routine using this approach.
